Activities are designed for flexibility. Guests may participate in the group adventures or choose alternative experiences offered by the reserve. If you’d rather spend the afternoon fishing, reading by the fire, enjoying the landscape, or exploring another activity, the staff can easily arrange it.

Arrival & Welcome at Vermejo Reserve
After settling into your room, enjoy time to relax and explore the property before gathering in the evening.
The night begins with a welcome cocktail reception, followed by a delicious dinner and relaxed conversation around the fire beneath the wide New Mexico sky.

Dog sledding adventure
We did a boat tour of the lake and stopped for shopping in Bellagio. I love collecting paintings from the places I visit and picked up a special piece here.
Bison Safari & Wine Weekend Event
Start the day with a guided Bison Safari, where you’ll explore Vermejo’s vast wilderness and witness herds roaming freely across the landscape.
Spend the afternoon enjoying the property, relaxing, or participating in optional activities.
In the evening, gather for a special wine and pizza event, a relaxed pre-dinner experience celebrating the weekend with great food and great company.
Day 2
Wellness & Outdoor Adventure
Afterward, guests can enjoy a variety of guided adventures such as:

• Hiking scenic trails
• Archery or sporting activities
• Fishing or kayaking
• Exploring the reserve
That evening, come together for a BBQ dinner and curated wine pairing, celebrating the beauty of the land and the spirit of Mother’s Day weekend.

Enjoy a relaxed morning before departing Vermejo.
Private transfers will take the group back to Denver International Airport for return flights home.

While Vermejo Reserve will have other guests staying on property during the weekend, our goal is to bring together a group of women to connect, explore Vermejo, and celebrate Mother’s Day together.
